Subject: Scholastic/Census 2000
Has anyone else gotten their packets from Scholastic "Making sense of
Census 2000"?
It includes teaching guide, lesson plans, and "Giant Wall Map."
They aren't kidding--about 6 ft wide by 4 ft high.
It is not too sophisticated cartographically--each state color coded by
population size and including state capital and major city(ies). I'm
especially surprised there are not major cities in Nevada--only the
capital Carson City.
