Three to four years ago (maybe longer?) a special article
was done in the WAML Informtion Bulletin on map trucks,
including a description and the specs for the one used at
the National Archives. I'm replying from home, but I'll try
to locate the issue and get the specific volume for you
tomorrow unless someone else beats me to it!
