Folks:
I have had two questions that I am unable to answer.
One patron would like a detailed map of the city of Dar es Salaam and
environs, ca. 1911. Did the Germans survey at this scale during this
time period? Does anyone have a suitable map in their collection that
they would be willing to scan? He’s hoping to find something that
predates the maps the British produced during WWI.
A second is writing a genealogical history and needs a map that would
have publishing rights. He would like a detailed map of the German
Palatinate ca. 1750, and a map at the largest extent of the Palatinate
if that is earlier.
Please reply off the list if you can help.
Thanks,
Thelma Thompson
