Folks,
Got an email message from Jim O'Donnell. He's fine, just a

Northridge Earthquake effects
My neighborhood is okay, and I'm back at work. However, UCLA is still cleaning
up. We are working on the Chemistry Library today and the Geology/Geophysics
Library later and tomorrow. The stacks have tilted and the top two shelves
of almost all the stacks were emptied by the quake. Stacks have twisted in
the Physics Library. We just received clearance to go into the Engineering
& Math Sciences Library. Chemical spills have slowed down access to the
science libraries.
