Diane Edison is an Associate Professor of Drawing and Painting
at the University of Georgia. She received her BFA from the School
of Visual Arts in NYC in 1976. She attended the Skowhegan
School of Painting and Sculpture in 1984, and received her MFA
from the University of Pennsylvania in 1986. She is represented by
the George Adams Gallery in NYC and also exhibited at the DC
Moore Gallery NYC, Tatischeff & Company NYC, Nexus
Contemporary Art Center Atlanta, and the KwangJu Biennial,
Korea. Diane's work is included in the collections of the American
Embassies of Moscow, Russia, N'Djamena, Chad, the Arkansas
Art Center, and the Leeway Foundation, Philadelphia. She
received a Georgia Council for the Arts Grant, SAL/National
Endowment for the Arts Grant, and the Milton Avery Foundation
Fellowship. Diane was appointed to serve as a member of
"service to Artists" Committee for the college Art Association in
2000.
