Subject: Aerial photo question
Sender: Deborah Mekeel TAL 850/488-9380 <[log in to unmask]>
Greetings All,
I recently inherited two file cabinets full of 1940's vintage aerial photos
that appear to be from the USDA Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation
Service. I want to keep the Florida photos, and find a good home for the
others, but I can't tell exactly what I have. I have index sheets for Florida,
so I can identify those, but there are a number of them that are (obviously)
not Florida, and there is no location information on the photos other than the
three-letter code in the northeast corner of each sheet. My question is this.
Is there a source that identifies the three letter codes that appear on these
sheets by state and county?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Deborah
