Calling All Map Librarians -

The MAGERT Small Map Collection Discussion Group will meet during ALA
Midwinter on Sunday, January 16, 2005 from 2-4 p.m. at the Westin Copley
Place, Parliament room (WEST - Parliament) which is located at 10
Huntington Avenue.

So far I've received one agenda item and would like to have a couple
more from those of you planning on attending the meeting so please send
your agenda items directly to me (Brenda Mathenia - moderator) at
[log in to unmask] and plan on joining us for a good discussion.

For those of you new to MAGERT or to the world of maps - the Small Map
Collection Discussion Group is made up primarily of individuals who work
on a part-time basis with their map collections (some large collections,
some small).  If you feel you would like to learn more about this group
and the challenges of part time map collecting/management I encourage
you to stop by and visit.
