Subject: Maps with covers - follow up
Sender: [log in to unmask]
I just want to thank everyone heartily who responded to my question about
how to deal with maps that come in covers. In summary, some people
suggested cataloging and/or housing the covers separately. Some people
keep the covers with the maps, especially if they tend to get little use.
Some discard the covers. Some laminate the whole piece, either with the
cover off to the side or with the cover obscuring some of the map. Some
keep the maps folded in the covers, especially if there is an extensive
index included. So, I'll think about how best to solve this problem for us
here. I have lots of great suggestions to choose from! Thanks! --Sue Ann
