Folks, I was contacted today by a land owner who has a dispute with the
Mark Twain National Forest over road access. They want to prove that a
road has been on their property since the 1920s. The maps we have from
that time frame are not detailed enough to show their road, and the
earliest topographic quadrangle and aerial photos of the area were made
in the late 1930s. The property is in section 36 of T 26 N and R 19 W.
Do any of you have a 1920s map of this area? Any advice would be
appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim
