Subject: [ALACOUN:18393] cakk tge new EPA Region 7 (Kansas city) Administrator
Hi All,
EPA Region 7 has a new regional admistrator. Since the region 7 library is
being shut down shortly and he can stop that if he wishes, please call him
after he is installed on Sept 7, 2006. Region 7 includes Missouri, Kansas,
Iowa and Nebraska. He is a graduate of Iowa State College.
I was in KC in August but did not stop to see the library since I founded
it and really could not bear seeing my work and that of those who followed
me undone. That library has one of the best collections of docs on the
Missouri river.
Thanks for your help. Since the crisis started I have visited two regional
libraries and have been told that our calls, resolutions and emails have
helped save some of the regional libraries.
