Though your request was to respond to you personally I think that
others may profit from this information, so I put it on the list.
As most aerial photographs are flown for military surveys, or at
least scrutenized by them for sensitive military data, you
usually can contact best the military survey in question.
Unfortunately for Indonesia I only know the name:
Bakosurtanal (Badan Koordinasi Survey dan Pemetaan [National
Institute for mapping and inventory of natural resources]) in
Cibinong (close to Jakarta).
From an article in a 1993 issue of the "Kartografisch
Tijdschrift" [Cartographic Journal] I know that there are maps
(1:25,000 and 1:50,000) for Jawa and Bali, but from pre-colonial
times. Under the TRANS-V programme aerial photos were taken of
520,000 sq.km, mainly in Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Sumatra and
Eastern Timor.
