Colleagues
The cable/satellite tv History Channel has filmed a series of 90 second
mini-programmes about maps featuring Peter Barber, Head of the British
Library Map Collections, talking about gems of the BL's map holdings. We
have just received the following message regarding the broadcast dates
and times for the spots. These refer to the broadcasts in the UK;
however, this is the American-based History Channel (as opposed to the
UKHistory Channel), and so it's likely the spots will appear in North
America as well, we just don't know exactly when. If anyone finds them
on the US-based schedule, please let us know.
We hope you'll enjoy them. We are hoping to display the items discussed
in the programmes here at the BL in London at the time.
