Amor,

See the DSSAT manual, volume 2, pp. 110-113.  It depends on your
purpose.  If you want to work directly with the temporary input file
(IBSNAT35.INP by default) instead of FILEX, you can create it with an
interactive run from DSSAT, then manually edit or write a program to
manipulate this file.  This gives the greatest flexibility and speed,
but requires some preparation.  The call would be something like,

<crop model executable, e.g., "GECER980">  <temporary input file, e.g.,
"IBSNAT35.INP">  I  <RNMODE (see vol. 2, p. 111) -- probably "N" or
"F">  <run title or run number>
