Dear researchers,
I have a problem when trying to generate my own climate station in the
Weather man software.
I am trying to import a txt file, which is supplied by DSSAT
(tools/weatherman/import) into a raw data grid. Then I give each
variable the appropriate name and unit. In a next step I try to import
it into the WM. Under file options I choose: Create new climate station
database and merge data plus Resume editing of raw data for file import
I get the error message: `1.1`is not a valid floating point value.
I have also tried it with 1; 1,0; 1.000 and so on.

The other thing is, that when I try to "merge the data into a current
database" under import options I get the error: I/0 error 32.

What am I doing wrong? I could not find anything about that in the
manuel and in the Listserver archive.

Thank you very much,
Vanessa Heinzel from Germany
