Dear Hiroshi Hasegawa,
You can find the documentation for OILCROPSUN (Sunflower model) at
http://nowlin.css.msu.edu/#PEOPLE
This publication is an explained code for the version 5.1, which is slightly
different from SUOIL980 in DSSAT 3.5; however, it will give you many useful
details on the program, which are conserved between the versions. Soil water
and nitrogen routines are the same as other models in DSSAT. You can find
more information on the sunflower model in Villalobos et al., (1996).
Agronomy Journal, 88:403-415.
Calibration in sunflower is not different from other models. I suggest to
grow isolated plants in different planting dates under non limiting
conditions. If you can cover also a wide range of latitudes .... focus on
measuring coefficients P5, G2 and G3. Then calculate P1 and P2.
