We are announcing the first call for papers for the 42nd Crop Simulation Workshop sponsored by the Biological Systems Simulation Group and hosted by the USDA/ARS Crop Systems and Global Change Laboratory in Beltsville, MD

Beltsville is near Washington DC and the Cherry Blossoms will be blooming.


Participants are invited to submit papers on the following topics:

Global climate change
Nutrient management
Economic analysis
Models as Assessment tools
Treatment of spatial data
Light interception and energy balance in crop canopies
The role of simulation models in trans-disciplinary research
Comparisons among different models for the same crop-how does the choice of the model affect the assessment.
Modeling and the 'Cloud'

The deadline for early registration is March 17, 2012
