I am pleased to (re-)announce the availability of the "original" Geological
Survey of Illinois, edited by Amos H. Worthen as a digital
facsimile.  Currently there is no searching or hyperlinking from any
indexes, although we are investigating the addition of navigational tools
such as these.  There is a general index to the set available at the end of
the text volume 8 which may aid in browsing.  This title is available
through our online catalog record, as well as from the following website:

http://worthen.lib.uchicago.edu
