Please note that there will be an ICASA open forum discussion at the 4th
International Crop Science Congress in Brisbane on September 28. The purpose
of the meeting is to promote cooperation among scientists on development and
use of cropping system models for achieving greater impact in agricultural
research and development.
I will give an overview of ICASA, its goals, and the framework under which
we operate to start the forum. Then, we will review ICASA initiatives and
discuss opportunities and ways to meet needs of researchers who are involved
in development an use of cropping system models at different levels. The
time and place of the meeting are:

Tuesday 28 September 2004
1930 hours to 2130 hours
ICASA Open Forum on Crop Modelling and Decision Support Systems
Plaza Rooms 1 & 2, Plaza Level, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre

If you attend the 4icsc, please come and contribute to this forum. Also,
please tell your colleagues who are going to Brisbane to come to this forum.
I hope to see you there.
