Re: Special Session on Site-Specific Development at PA7

Dear Colleagues,

As you are probably already aware, the 7th International Conference on
Precision Agriculture (http://www.precision.agri.umn.edu/Conference/) will
be held in Minneapolis 25-28 July 2004. We (Simon Cook and myself, of CIAT)
are setting up a Special Session on Site-Specific Development as part of the
conference. Please see the attached document for an explanation of the
concept.

 <<SSD.pdf>>

We invite you to submit an abstract to PA7 on the theme of Site-Specific
Development. I am still in the process of clarifying exactly how abstracts
should be submitted to make sure they are considered for this Special
Session. However as the deadline for abstracts is 14 December we wanted to
make you aware of this session now. Details will follow next week on the
submission process.

We hope you will want to join us in exploring what we think is an exciting
and important concept for agriculture in the developing world.

Regards,
Rachel O'Brien
