Subject: portolan 2

Following up on my just-posted request for reproductions of a particular
porolan (Viladestes (1413)), the reproduction in v.XII , p145 (plate 73) of
"Geschichte des arabischen Schrifttums" is not clear enough, particularly
on the Greek coast, which the patron is analysing.
There appears to be at least one other reproduction:
Karte 12 of "Portulane. Seekarten vom 13. bis zum 17. Jahrhundert" by
Michel Mollat du Jourdin, Monique de LaRoncière
292pages, published Fribourg-München, 1984, ISBN: 3777437107
Does anyone have this, and if so, can they se if the western Greek coast is
shown relatively clearly to be worth trying to copy?
