I would like to use the DSSAT shell to simulate Sugar Beet and Rapeseed
(Canola) as these are important crops in crop rotations in Central Europe.
There are provisions for these crops in the DSSAT shell, but no examples for
genetic coefficients.
I am not sure if the models incorporated in DSSAT can be used to simulate
sugar beet and rapeseed growth at all?? Does it make sense to try to find
genetic coefficients to describe sugar beet and rapeseed growth based on
models for e.g. potato and cereals??

Any comments or experiences welcome, thank you!
