Dear colleagues:

We would like to announce a

Tillage-Residue Modeling Workshop
to be held from 8-11 December 2003
at CIMMYT, Mexico.

The purpose of this workshop is to bring together scientists who work in
the field of modeling tillage/residue management to review in detail the
status of modeling approaches, model code and data sets and to exchange,
advance and promote our capabilities for modeling effects of tillage and
residue management, especially as applied to conservation agriculture and
global change research. The emphasis of the workshop is group discussions
and hands-on work sessions.

CIMMYT headquarter is situated 30 km northwest of Mexico-City
international airport. On-campus board and lodging will be available for
a moderate rate.

If you are interested in participating please contact us for further
details.

Best regards,

Rolf Sommer
