*Brunei To Host Southeast Asia Survey Congress

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei will be taking centre stage towards the end
of November as the nation plays host to the Southeast Asia Survey Congress.

Over 300 participants from more than 20 countries including Asean member
countries, Australia, China, New Zealand, India, Nepal, Poland, Czech
Republic, Russia and United States among others will convene for five
days in the sultanate.

The biennial gathering of Geomatics engineers is one of the biggest
events in this part of the world.

It is being organised by the Brunei Institutions of Geomatics (BIG),
Survey Department, Ministry of Development together' with the Asean
Federation of Land Surveying and Geomatics (AFLAG). The event is
supported by the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) as one of
the several events held by the world surveyors' organisation.
