Hi Melkamu,

I did maize-cowpea intercrop modeling for my PhD research in Australia some
years back. There is a template for intercropping within APSIM, the generic
software of the APSRU (Agricultural Production Systems Research Unit) in
Toowoomba, Australia.

Contact Dr. Peter Carberry of the DPI/CSIRO, APSRU, Toowoomba, Queensland,
Australia for some more info.

You may also contact Prof. R. Caldwell. He was formerly in the University of
Hawaii but I am not sure whether he is still there. He has done several
works in intercrop modelling.

Cheers
