The Center for Applied Optimization (CAO) at the University of Florida is working to have a publication titled "The Handbook of Data Mining in Power Systems (HPSD)" that will be published by Springer. This publication aims to include the state-of-the-art in data mining applied to power systems. In particular, issues arising from the integration of optimization in the energy industry, modeling, forecasting, optimization and evolution of energy usage. The DSSAT group may be interested in the use of data mining techniques in Precipitation, Temperature, Wind flow, Water Inflow, River Temperature, CO2 emissions, etc.
