I will not be able to attend this year's ASA meetings, and was wondering if there will be a summary available of the discussions at the Open Forum.  If so, would it be possible to receive a copy when available?

Hello crop modelers,

At this year's ASA-CSSA-SSSA meetings, the ICASA Open Forum on Crop Modeling
and Decision Support Systems will be Monday 1 Nov. from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in
Room 254B of the Salt Palace Center.

Possible topics for informal discussion are:

Events:
*       The upcoming SAAD-3 Symposium (CIP, Lima, Peru)
*       The just-finished TACO Shell Workshop (CIMMYT, Texcoco, Mexico)
*       ICASA training courses for 2000

Tools:
*       Status of DSSAT v3.5
*       Status of DSSAT v4.0
*       Y2K compliance of ICASA tools and data sets
*       ICASA standards
*       New tools or shells

Models per se:
*       Modular modeling
*       Interest in new crops interest

Other topics as suggested by participants.
