OK: Your library is not the only one that this happened to. Same here
at Univ. of Utah. My hope is that the folded was an aberration and
they'll get back to flat. Certainly, we didn't get double sendings, one
flat, one folded; but if there are two systems going in parallel, we
ought, as a group, make our preference for one over the other clear.
This is a job for CUAC--the Cartographic Users Advisory Council--which
usually meets with Washington agencies in May. Folks, are we agreed
that flat is better for us depository recipients?

Please tell me our library is not the only one that this happened to! I
am in a quandary as to how to shelve these maps. I have a lot of work
cut out for me either way to make the records match reality and make the
maps be accessible to patrons! Do you have any suggestions or people to
contact?
