Dear Colleagues,

The DSSAT development team announces the release of DSSAT v4.0.2.0,
which is an update of DSSAT v4.0. Current DSSAT v4.0 owners can
download this update from the ICASA web page at http://168.29.150.63:81/

This version of DSSAT includes a new cotton model as well as the
spatial application tool AEGIS/WIN that was available earlier under
DSSAT v3.5. DSSAT v4.0.2.0 also includes many code improvements as
well as fixes for bugs that were discovered since the release of
DSSAT v4.0 in 2004.

Please make sure to backup your critical data files, especially your
cultivar, ecotype and species files, prior to installing this update.
Note that some crops might also require minor recalibration of your
cultivar coefficients. All major changes have been documented in the
DSSAT Readme file, which can be accessed from the DSSAT shell.
