Title
Ecophysiological modeling of fruit quality based on genetic and genomic
knowledge
Job description
An important field of research on fruit quality is the development of
ecophysiological models that integrate the results of functional
genomics and make it possible to better interpret them. This approach
aims at proposing new theories on the fruit behaviour considering
together genetic and environmental controls. The scientist will have to
formulate these new models by using and adapting theories of metabolism
and metabolite transport at various scales, from the cell to the fruit.
He will work within the framework of national and european projects and
will interact with scientists of different domains (genetics, plant
biology and ecophysiology).
Qualifications required
The candidate must have modelling skills, preferably in the field of
physico-biochemistry. He will also show interest for ecophysiology,
plant biology and genetics.
The applicant must have a PhD
