Hello,

I'm a Ph D student. My dissertation (Agronomy area) is about the =
importance of relational
databases (RDBMS) as a source of structured information for several =
aspects at the agricultural engineering level. One of the points that I =
would like to study is the link between a RDBMS and DSSAT models.

In the last days I have been practising with DSSAT software. One of the =
first conclusions of that "hands-on" is that DSSAT software would be =
must more friendly if, at most for the novice (those like my self...), =
there is a underlying RDBMS.

I would be very pleased with some answers about this topic.

Thank you very much for your time.

Carlos P. Caldeira

Note: I am using LUIS MIRA DA SILVA copy of DSSAT software.
