Dear All,
I recently wrote an article on root development in wheat (I can provide an
electronic cope to those of you interested). Hope it can help. Any comment /
suggestion is very much welcome.

I love Richard's question and I hope to hear some useful suggestions.
Meanwhile, I would like to direct your attention to a 1998 paper, about using
capacitance testers to estimate fresh root mass:

Does anyone has follow these and/or other experiences?
Best regards,
Jon

Subject: Root measurements
Dear DSSAT community,
Does anyone have an efficient/accurate method of measuring actual root length
density and root weight for model development and testing purposes? Thank you
for any help you can lend. Sincerely, Richard Ogoshi
