Does anyone know why I get "File access denied" errors when using
Weatherman (from DSSAT and running WM alone)? I am trying to import
several years worth of weather data. I usually get about 1 or 2 years
imported before I get this message. Every time this happens, the station
information is erased. I finally got 15 years of files imported and I was
able to export them in IBSNAT3 format. The station name (*.cli file)
appeared in the list as well as all 15 years of data. I went back to WM to
generate parameters for WGEN to fill missing data and to calculate SRAD for
10 years of the data and I got the error again and the program was
terminated. When I load up WM again, the station that was created is gone.
From the main DSSAT file menu, I select DATA, WEATHER, and LIST/EDIT to
view the files and the *.cli file is gone.

I am using WinNT v4.0, has anyone else used DSSAT3 with WinNT 4.0? There
is no config.sys or autoexec.bat to change in WinNT 4.0. I can change the
buffer size but I can't make any of the other recommended changes.

Thanks,
Brandon Claborn
