You should have a file called README on the disk that includes the
instructions on installing the model in DSSAT v2.1.
 
If not this is it:
 
This disk contains the current PINEAPPLE crop model and the modified
DSSAT v2.1 Shell that can be used to access it as part of DSSAT.
 
To Install:
 
1. Install DSSAT v2.1 following instructions in the users guide.
2. Make a backup of the current DSSAT.EXE and INTDSSAT.DAT.  These
   files will be over-written when you install this PINEAPPLE model
   with modified versions.  You can restore the normal DSSAT v2.1 by
   re-copying these files to the DSSAT v2.1 directory.
3. Place this disk in the floppy drive.
4. Make the default directory the DSSAT v2.1 main directory, normally
   this is "C:\DSSAT".
5. Type "a:papple -d" and press <ENTER>, where "a:" is the drive you
   placed the disk in step 3 above.
6. The PINEAPPLE model and updated Shell should un-zip into the proper
   directories.
7. Type "DSSAT" and press <ENTER> to start DSSAT.
