Dear Romulo,

DSSAT rules, at least when you ask at the DSSAT listserver! ;-)

But seriously:
First of all, you have to explain a little bit more, what the hypotheses are
in these field experiments. I would say that a model rarely gives you
answers so that you can formulated the associate questions.

From what you write, I guess that opportunities for modeling are quite
limited in your case.
Chemical properties: only N is currently modeled. pH, P, K and so one not.
Physical properties: e.g. bulk density or water retention characteristics
are not influenced by management practices in DSSAT (maybe EPIC is doing a
better job).
Biological properties: what do you mean, micro-fauna or mycorrhyza? (Both
not modeled by DSSAT)
