Received by me (c/o RGS) from author last month, herewith details of
three of articles which I offer as they might otherwise pass un-noticed.
Two attempts to contact the author (and his Department) thru e-mail have
hitherto failed; this included quizzing him on ISSNs for items 1 & 2
(apart, possibly, for the second neither was identified definitely on
the online /Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory/).

insights / Simon Potter. – /In/: Studies in Media and Culture (Nagoya :
Graduate School of Languages and Cultures, Nagoya University), March
2007, *3*, 57-72 : col. ill. – Notes: p.70-71 ; refs (E & Ja): p.71-72.
– Includes section ‘Japanese art history in regard to cartography’
(p.58-60)

Australia showing distribution of the Common Wombat (caption in Ja & E)

3) Illustrated maps on public display in Nagoya and their educational
merits : an on-site study of applied cartography of use to residents and
visitors in a large Japanese city as of Heisei 19 [i.e. 2007 CE] / Simon
Potter. – Nagoya : [Simon Potter,] Graduate School of Languages and
Cultures, Nagoya University, Heisei 19 [2007]. – [iv],[54]p. : col.
ill., col. maps ; 30 cm. – “This booklet was prepared for disseminating
information and ideas about a particular application of modern Japanese
cartography. Please use it for academic, scholarly, or appropriate
educational purposes and refrain from reproducing and/or translating the
contents herein to avoid giving proper intellectual credit and such like
[. . .] only 200 copies of this booklet have been printed.” – p.[ii]

A fourth (different) item is detailed on ‘MapHist’.
