Flordeliza,

The P option only works for certain DSSAT crops. I doubt that this works for rice, but I hope that Upendra Singh can respond to you on this question. That is probably why this error comes up. There are things in code as well as in the *.SPE that are used for P balance simulation.

Subject: Error Key RTSOLV

Hi,

I am running simulations on rice crop and I have encountered the following error key :

 RTSOLV YEAR DOY = 2008 20
File not found. Please check file name or create file.
 File: RICER045.SPE
    Line: 0
    Error key: RTSOLV

However, I am pretty sure that the file RICER045.SPE exist because I was able to use the program before. The only change I've made is that I enabled the phophorus under the simulation option (I chose Yes on this option). It was off before since I am not interested on the effects of variation in P initially. But I turned it on now since I also need to investigate the effects of different levels of P on rice yield.

I will highly appreciate if someone can give me an idea to fix this.

Regards,
