I'm cataloging a map that has a continuation of the area on the verso, but at
a different scale. According to the Map Cataloging Manual from LC, a map can
be described as being on both sides if the scale is the same. Since this
instance doesn't, I've devised a 500 note that reads "Ancillary maps of
Waterbury vicinity and "Northeastern coastal states," continuation of map at
[ca. 1:36,000], and indexes on verso."
Does this seem correct?
