We are cataloging a set of 14 maps, astronomy charts really, that
originally accompanied Uranometrķa Argentina, published in 1879. The
larger work (which is in Spanish) was authored by Benjamin Gould, but
each of the 14 sheets, within the neatline has the notation, "A. K.
Mansfield, Delt." We are trying to figure out what "Delt." refers to.
A function such as lithographer or cartographer? A personal title? My
cataloger is a native Spanish speaker, and she can't guess what it might
be.
Any ideas out there?
