Hello,

I am working on a project to model climate change impacts to South African
wheat production. I am hoping to use a representative dryland cultivar for
each of the main wheat production regions (e.g. SST88 and/or SST27 in the
Western Cape winter rainfall area; Elands in the Free State, etc.).

I was wondering if anyone has and would be willing to share either: a)
genetic coefficients for these or similar cultivars; b) trial data that I
can use with GENCALC to calibrate the coefficients; c) a contact with
someone who does?

I am trying to get such information from SA institutions (e.g. ARC Small
Grains institute; Sensako), but I was hoping that perhaps a DSSAT user
already has such information. I saw some conversation on this in a 2005
post (http://www.icasa.net/listserver/162.html), but any resolution to that
query was not posted.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Lyndon
