Dear DSSAT Community:

We are having a problem getting the Data Fill Options to work when
importing raw data into a Weatherman database. We've checked the "Fill
Missing data" option under Preferences/Data Fill, but the missing data is
not being filled after importing the data (using the raw data grid import).

We've imported raw weather data (daily max/min temp, rain, sunlight
duration hours) for a weather station in Thailand for 1998-2003, but the
data is missing some values for sunlight duration (about a month of data is
missing). We import into Weatherman by first checking the "Fill Missing
data" flag in preferences (as well as the flag for converting sunlight
duration to solar radiation), then loading the data using the "import raw
data" grid and defining the units for the columns (sunlight duration is in
the "hours of bright sunshine" units). We then exported the yearly .wth
files.

Weatherman does estimate solar radiation values from the sunlight duration,
but it is not filling the missing values.

We are wondering if we are missing any steps in this process? The
Weatherman documentation we have does not provide more detail. We are
using WeatherMan 4.0.1.0

Thanks for any help or tips.
