Congratulations to the FFA teams who placed 1st and 2nd in their area
competition and have earned the opportunity to advance to state.

The state floriculture and nursery landscape CDE will be held at the State
FFA Center in Covington on Saturday March 17th.

Students are asked to wear their official FFA dress or FFA chapter shirts
during the competition.
Photographs will be taken before and during the competition.

Each senior division student will need a clean clipboard, 3 sharpened
pencils, hands lens, and a non-programmable calculator (cell phones will
not be allowed in the competition area)
Nursery Landscape participants will also need an architect & engineers
scale.

Each junior division student will need a clean clipboard and 3 sharpened
pencils.

8:30 - 8:50 a.m. Report to Dinning Hall
8:50 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Announcements/Introductions Dinning Hall
9-11:30 a.m. Competition:
11:30 - noon CDE review Mobley Hall
Noon : Announcement of the results/presentation of awards/photos Mobley
Hall

If you have any questions concerning the cdes please contact Anne Smith
about Floriculture competition and Teri Hamlin about Nursery/Landscape.
Eddie McKie will be conducting the floral design cde and will be sending
out contest details in the near future.
