Mohamed,

WM was not really designed to generate daily weather data based on a just a set of monthly means. Low and high frequency parameters (estimated when climate data is imported into a station) are used in the process of generating stochastic weather data. There is work being done to allow this functionality (using means only), but it is not a part of WM yet.

If you have monthly means, you can rather easily incorporate these into DSSAT and use it in the crop models. CLI files are climate summary files found in the weather\climate directory of DSSAT and have the format as below. SAMN is radiations, XAMN is maximum temp, NAMN is the minimum temp, and RTOT and RNUM are total rainfall and rainfall events per month. You can name each station with a 4 character name (eg ABCD.cli) and then use the Simmeteo option in the models to generate data on the fly. If you have measured data (5 years of more) you can import that into WM and the CLI files will be generated automatically.

If you have any further question feel free to reply to me directly.

Subject: Weatherman

Dear all,
I got a tiny problem with the 'weatherman'
After I have created a weather station and entered my monthly average data
manually I have tried to generate a daily weather data but I got this message:
'There is access violation at address 0040324C in module weatherman. Read of
address 00000001'. Any suggestion on how to solve this will be appreciated.
Regards
