                         Jimmy Carter Boyhood Farm
                            April 7 and 8, 2005

You are invited to bring your students to Plains for a special Field Trip.
  The Boyhood Farm will have demonstrations and hands on opportunities as
students step back in time to the thirties and forties to learn about life
                 on the farm, sharecropping, life skills,
                    the Depression, and transportation.
                   Students will have the opportunity to
                      plow with hand plows and mules,
 hoe in the garden, plant corn, shell corn, grind grits, make hand churned
             ice cream, churn butter, make yard brooms, quilt
 and participate in many other activities as they tour the  farm and learn
      first hand about Georgia History and Jimmy Carter’s childhood.
                Spaces are limited so book your trip today!
