Teachers it is with great concern that I send out this email in regard to
the recent swine ad hoc meeting. In the essence of time management I will
refer to Terry Harris and company as "THC" for the remainder of this email.
It was voted that at the 2006 Jr market hog show that pigs be clipped no
closer than 3/8". It was also decided that THC would check each hog at
weigh in to see that they are in compliance. THC will eliminate those hogs
clipped closer than 3/8". It was also voted that the use of oils and oil
type products will not be allowed at the show. THC will check hogs at the
staging area prior to them entering the ring , if the hog is not in
compliance they will be eliminated from the show. It was also voted that
there will be no clipping in the barns. THC will monitor this and eliminate
or disqualify individuals or hogs participating in this practice.

I have a feeling that the above rules will try to be implemented at the
2005 Ga National Fair, so be watching closely.
I am always open to your suggestions please contact me with your ideas and
concerns.

I will be attempting to get THC to send a representative to our teacher
conference to fully explain all the above mentioned rules , guidelines,
hair length check procedures, etc.
 Thanks MIke D
