Message from John Allen Bailey:
Many Agriculture Teachers have aquaculture tanks in their ag depts., but
they do not have a good source for obtaining fish that will grow in them.
Many have tried growing catfish, but they all seem to perish. Tilapia
seems to be a better choice to grow because of their survivability skills.
The Franklin County Agriculture Dept. has tilapia for sale at a very
affordable price for teachers interested in raising them in their
aquaculture systems. Now is a very good time for you to begin raising
these fish at school in order to have them ready for consumption by the end
of the school year. Attached you should find a price list for these fish.
Please let me know if I can help you with your aquaculture systems.
