CONGRATULATIONS to Chaney Mosley, Agriculture Education Teacher at Temple
High School.
Mr. Mosley has been selected by the National TEACH program committee to
represent Georgia in a two week international education program. The
program schedule includes field activities that are designed to teach
participants how small farmers and producers sustain rural development in
México. He will spend the first week in Toluca visiting potato producers,
studying and investigating ecological systems, as well as examining
vegetation and plants. During the second week, he will travel throughout
México and learn about tropical crops, livestock and biotechnology in
México.
National TEACH program is sponsored by the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural
Service (FAS); the National Association of Agricultural Educators; and the
following USDA agencies: the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service;
the Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service; the Farm
Service Agency; the Forest Service; the Natural Resources Conservation
Service.
