December Surprise!
Good Morning Dr. Hamlin,
I just wanted to drop you a note about what happened to me yesterday since
you had recently asked me about support here at Mundy's Mill HS. I was very
surprised to look on the Educator of the Month Ballot yesterday morning to
find my name on there with some very flattering things written about me and
what our kids have done thus far this school year. I was even more
surprised that my peers elected me as the December Educator of the Month.
Yesterday afternoon, after I received my recognition and award Mr. Smith
continued to say that he was ready to close the program because he was
convinced that agriculture couldn't work at Mundy's Mill High School but he
has since changed his mind. I must say, I still believe I made a great
choice in coming here and I can't tell you how much I appreciate what you
have and continue to do for me.
