                                       Celebration of Life for Everett

Everett's autopsy showed that he died from cardiac arrest and an enlarged
heart. His "Celebration of Life" service is scheduled for June 3 at 2:00
p.m. at Chestnut Drive Church of Christ in Doraville. It is off Buford Hwy,
inside the perimeter, turning at Goree Ice (that used to be there, anyway).
You can get a map with google. We are asking friends and colleagues to
share fun times and good/sad/funny memories with each other. We all know
that's what he would have wanted. Fishing trips, pranks, tractor
situations, wheelbarrows rolling down the hall - you get the idea. We are
asking that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to your favorite
charity or to The Parker School. The significance of The Parker School is
that a group of kindergarteners from this school witnessed this event while
on their end of school picnic. We would like to make a donation to the
school for books on plants/trees in Everett's memory.

We will have a service in McMinnville, Tn. at Highland Church of Christ on
Thursday, June 8 at 7:00p.m. (they are 1 hour behind us). This is for
family and friends there who are unable to attend the services here. Anyone
is welcome to attend that service. It is about a 4 hour drive from Atlanta.

You may call me at 770-886-9828 or Byars Funeral Home of Cumming -
678-455-5815 if you have questions. An obituary should be in Thursday's
AJC. I am also hoping for one to be in the Dunwoody Crier and Forsyth
County News. Please pass this information on to whomever you feel is
appropriate. I can't think of all or know how to contact them.

We cannot thank you enough for all your calls, offers of assistance, food
and chores you have performed during this difficult time. You have shown
your love for him greatly towards us.
