Teachers,

As you prepare your teams for the State Contest - please make this
notation
- on Class 9 - Egg Exterior Quality Written Factors - we will not use #8
Faulty Soundness / Strength. The Poultry Science Manual lists several
written factors that cause an egg to be considered faulty soundness or
strength. The National FFA Poulty CDE Committee decided not to use to
this
particular written factor. In order for Georgia's State contest to be
consistent with the National Contest - we will not use the Faulty
Soundness/
Strength written factor. We will program the scoring program for the
scoring & scanning system, so that any answers marked or not marked in
that
row will not count against your students.

I am also attaching a copy of the Poultry Science CDE scan tron form
that
will be used for the State Contest.

Please contact your area teacher with questions. Thank you.
