Dear GVATA Members;
On July 18, 2005 we recognized our Georgia Vocational Agricultural Teacher’s
Association award applicants during the 2005 GVATA Summer Conference
luncheon. The recipients were: Shawn Collins as the Outstanding Young
Member, Phillip McKie for Turn the Key, Ware County Magnet for Outstanding
Program, and Reggie Stowers as the Outstanding Teacher.
For their accomplishments, their applications will be sent to the National
Association of Agricultural Educators Conference which will be held during
December 5th thru 9th in New Orleans. In addition, each winner will be
presented with a check for $100 from the GVATA.
The GVATA would like to encourage it’s members to take part in the
organization awards program so that they may also receive monetary benefits.
Again, congratulations to the winners and lets remember that we are here to
provide agricultural education for the global community through visionary
leadership, advocacy and service.
Sincerely,
W. Justin Sealy
